Young Indiana Jones Videos and Laserdiscs


U.S. Videos

All the episodes were edited into 22 two hour movies. 12 of them were released on VHS video tape on October 26, 1999 with a list price of $14.99. For details on the videos and the episodes they came from see the Young Indy video series episode guide. These are the videos that were released.

Other country Videos

The 12 U.S. videos are being released worldwide over the course of the year 2000. Countries where the videos have come out include the U.K., Netherlands, Hungary, Germany, Mexico, France, and Japan.

Sometime around 1994 there were 8 NTSC format videos with 15 episodes from the first two seasons released in Japan. I do not have details for these.

The following PAL format videos were released in the U.K and the Netherlands. They are not playable in the U.S. and other countries which use the NTSC format without conversion.

Laserdiscs

A laserdisc box set was released in Japan on April 21, 1993. It had 15 of the early episodes and a short documentary on the making of the series. The NTSC discs were in English in Dolby surround with Japanese subtitles. The discs have the following.
