We had it on TV about 10 years ago. only now, when it came back to TV again, i understood how i liked it, and how much i remember of it.
i was so sad to discover that Ronny Coutteure who played Remy, is not with us. he played Remy in such a wonderfull way...
a serious friend to Indy, but also funny. trustworthy, loyal. a character easy to like, and therefore it is so sad.

Big question to all the YIJ fans. Other than the few seconds of last crusade whrer Indy takes a few wacks at a Lion with a whip, when does the master bulwhipist start using one again? I have seen many of the YIJ episodes and I havent seen any Whip use yet. Let me know when It shows up again.

I grew up watching the INDY movies in the cinemas. Now i think i prefer the series. Its much more interesting and has time to go into deeper subjects and characters which the movies cannot afford to gamble with due to the short attention span of most audiences. The Young indiana jones series are like the adventures of Tintin if you ask me, and thats why i think they're great, They're set around the same era of our history when travelling really WAS travelling and every place was an adventure. I'm a backpacker myself and have travelled in over 25 countries so i connect with this Young indy character and his adventures. Its shows how its not all roses. Many challenges come your way and help you grow as a result. Well done for a series which is very informative for kids and beings good human qualitys like friendship and adventure again :)
