I loved the NOL! Favorite show for many years miss it and would
love for it to be back in some shape or form. On a side note, also
loved the Flight of Fear rollercoaster when it was still the outer limits
version. Thanks for keeping this site going and long live Outer
Limits!

Looks like Fox has now discontinued the complete series DVD boxed. This is sad-especially because it looks like a BluRay edition is never going to happen.

Sofia Shinas is the woman at the beginning of the OL episodes in the apple core. She was in The Crow. this is according to Answers. her body certainly fits the proportions as seen in the show. :)

The naked girl seen standing up and walking toward the camera in the new episode introduction (and whose face is seen covered by transparent hands) is model Paz de la Huerta. She was born in 1984 and is listed on the Internet Movie DataBase.

Cliff Robertson as listed in episode 93, was also in the original Outer Limits, episode 1, The Galaxy Being. He also won an Academy Award for his portrayal in "Charlie", of a mentally disabled man who had surgery to correct his deficits. He became super smart, & then regressed. Movie was based on book, "Flowers for Algernon". Book & movie are superb.

I was 16 when the old series was first aired in 1963. I thought the finest episode produced was the "Inheritors" and was the first one I bought in the VHS format. I'm sure there are many younger people who like the new OL better. I believe the older actors and actresses have the edge.

The original "old" Outer Limits was unique in it entire use of camera, angles, lighting--often a glow or haziness that added to the cryptic feeling; and definitely the music--just the right timing of the rhythim and use of instrumentation--they all drew the viewer in perfectly. I have seen some newer suspense or horror movies lately that seem to have a similar sound to the score--who wrote the music for the old Outer Limits, and does anyone know if he is still writing music for any movies or TV shows? I think, but am not sure, that one of the movies had Tom Cruise in it, and I do believe some of the music in his movies he may choose, because I've heard repeats of his songs (Aimee Mann) in at least 2 of his movies. My big question--when will they ever put the old series back on TV on Chiller, SyFi or TCM's or IFC?? Someone provide feedback. Thanks!!

Best Sci-Fi series of all time, without question. Best episode: "Demon with a Glass hand" w/ the late Robert Culp. Worst episode: maybe the one where two scientists "grow" an identical duplicate of another planet in a fishtank.. The music & stories are unique and first rate.

In general, the original OUTER LIMITS TV series is
very much superior to its 1995-2002 version-so to
even try to compare these versions,is like Apples and
oranges-no comparison whatsoever! the works of Leslie
Stevens,is an amazing thing, when you consider how he
meticulously created this series. for a mere 49 episodes, this series has become about as iconic as its
rival THE TWILIGHT ZONE,ultimately meaning that no remake,no matter how well intended it is,will ever
top such a superior accomplishment,,especially from
Leslie Stevens,Joseph Stefano and Ben Brady-these are not people, whose works can ever be continued by any-
one else! MGM was very unwise in remaking OUTER LIMITS
or by reducing Leslie Stevens to that of a mere con-
sultant.nothing about the remade version, showed any
kind of taste or style-just some made in Canada budget
saver-no more,no less!

Hi Guys: I'm the widow of Joseph Stefano, the co-creator and producer of The Outer Limits, & it's great to see all your comments, and your evident love of the series. For my husband it was a labor of love, and one of his proudest achievements. Keep on watching!

Yes, this seems like a good site. A Canadian company will release seasons 2, 3 and 4 soon, but it is the censored versions. So, nudity is completly censored out.

But while I'm here I might as well ask,
Does anyone knows what happened to the Costume of the
